Earlier this week, I was rummaging through my freezer to see what sorts of frozen fruits I had stored away. I came across my stasher bags of raspberries, strawberries, and cucumbers, and through I’d revisit an old (and I mean old) recipe from year one of my blogging days. Hello circa 2009!

Just as the feeling was back then, I’m longing for summertime (or a least a sunny holiday).

Here is a refreshing drink to have in the mid-day during the winter months when you’re craving summer, a ht of hydration and refreshing. The strawberries, raspberries, and cucumber will leave your mouth reminiscing about the warm summer months. Toss in some mint and you’ve got yourself the perfect mid-day pick me up!

The health benefits

Raspberries have many health benefits from being cancer-preventive to a good weight loss supplement. The oil from red raspberry not only has Vitamin E but has an SPF of 25-50.

Strawberries. One of the main health benefits of strawberries is, that it is very famous for its Vitamin C content. It is a very rich source of Vitamin B, Vitamin K, copper, manganese, folate, potassium, etc.

Cucumbers. The flesh of cucumbers is primarily composed of water but also contains ascorbic acid ( vitamin C) and caffeic acid, both of which help soothe skin irritations and reduce swelling. Cucumbers’ hard skin is rich in fiber and contains a variety of beneficial minerals, including silica, potassium, and magnesium.
