Ocean Blue Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls are kind of like having fro-yo for breakfast, but with a superfood-packed twist! Am I right? Which is why I'm obsessed with them, and I’m sure you are, too!

Jumpstart your day with a lip-smacking blend of superfood ingredients. This Ocean Bowl Smoothie has not only graced the pages of a published cookbook, but it’s one of my go-to’s.

This sweet superfood sensation is loaded with vitamins, ultra-powerful antioxidants from blue-green algae, plant-based protein, and fiber along with a tasty punch! So, where can you get blue-green algae? I purchase mine through E3Live called Blue Majik and also recommend Moon Juice’s Blue Beauty Adaptogen Protein.

I first came across them after enjoying countless blue-green algae cashew milk bottles at Kure Juice Bar in Portland, OR. Blue-green algae is an amazing superfood and one of the most nutrient-dense foods that has high concentrations of proteins, vitamins, and nutrients. (Hello, beautiful skin and hair!) I knew I had to get my hands on some!

The Extras

Since then, this recipe has been updated and revamped with SAKARA Circles Beauty Drops and Organic Protein + Greens Super Powder.

The Organic Protein + Greens Super Powder is a great addition to a complete protein derived from four organic, nutrient-dense plant sources. It’s fortified with alkalizing grasses and detoxifying algae. I love that it’s also available in travel-friendly single-serving sachets (10 per box) or a 30-serving resealable pouch with a scoop. Contains a full 12g of whole-food, bioavailable plant protein and only 1g of sugar per serving (derived from low-glycemic, organic coconut sugar).

As for the SAKARA Circles Beauty Drops, they help transform your water or any drink, smoothie, or smoothie bowl and deeply hydrate your cells with 72 naturally-occurring ionic trace minerals. Counteracts the mineral-depleting effects of stress, diet, and normal aging.
